Recipient must demonstrate a desire to major in one of the following majors:

• Biochemistry (B.A.)
• Biochemistry (B.S.)
• Biology (B.A.)
• Biology (B.S.)
• Computer Science (B.S.)
• Environmental Science (B.A.)
• Exercise Physiology (B.A.
• Exercise Physiology (B.S.)
• Health Science (B.A.)
• Marine Biology (B.S.)
• Mathematics (B.A.)
• Nursing (B.S.N.)
• Physics (B.A.)
• Quantitative Economics (B.S.)

Recipients must be first-time college applicants or transfer students with fewer than 24 attempted credits (Freshman).

Initial requirement a minimum high school GPA of at least 3.70 unweighted and a minimum test score of one of the following:

• ACT: average score of 30 or higher on the Mathematics and Science sections,
• SAT: score of 680 or higher on the Math section, or
• CLT:  score of 31 or higher on the Quantitative Reasoning Section.

Must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credits per semester).

Selected by committee based on variety of factors, including application and academic credentials.
