Dear Members of the faculty, administration and student body of Ave Maria University:
This semester was marked by many “firsts”: the entering class that numbered more than 400; our largest Honors Program; the opening of the Prince Building and O’Bryan Performance Hall; students utilizing the new nursing and exercise physiology labs; and perhaps most significantly, the regular celebration of Mass on our campus in the Chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe (whose feast we celebrate Wednesday). We now have two campus Masses daily, at 8AM and 8PM, and two on the weekends.
NAIA, The Sun Conference, and NWLL
Competing in sixteen varsity sports.
The Ave Maria University Athletics Department strives to enable students to live out Pope John Paul II’s vision of sports and the overall idea of physical, moral and social development through its athletic programs. The program provides students with a constructive learning experience that enables significant growth and enhances the development of values that will be critical for personal and professional success in the future.
Ave Maria University is a Catholic, liberal arts institution of higher learning devoted to Mary the Mother of God, inspired by St. John Paul II and St. Teresa of Calcutta, and dedicated to the formation of joyful, intentional followers of Jesus Christ through Word and Sacrament, scholarship and service.
