Scholarship Purpose

Provide financial support to academically gifted students equipped to become active leaders in the campus and culture, to foster a fuller participation in the great tradition of a Catholic liberal arts education.

Qualifications

Recipient must demonstrate excellence in studies, leadership abilities, and devotion to their Catholic faith.
Recipients will take part in the Thomas S. Monaghan Founders Program.
Recipients must be first-time college applicants or transfer students with fewer than 24 attempted credits (Freshman).
Initial requirement a minimum high school GPA of at least 3.70 unweighted and a minimum 30 ACT, 1360 SAT or 92 CLT.
Must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credits per semester) for the disbursement.
Recipient must reside on campus.

Selection Process

Selected by committee based on variety of factors, including application and academic credentials.

Expectations

Daily devotions and required reading. All materials are provided to you at no charge.
Attend weekly theology events – one night per week.
Attend 8-9 required Catholic formation events.
