Presidential Scholarship Weekend

Ave Maria University’s Presidential Scholarship Weekend, held on January 17-18, 2025, brought together top prospective students for an exclusive, invitation-only competition offering prestigious scholarships, including full tuition, fees, room, and board. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in a rigorous selection process featuring a campus tour, dinner with President Middendorf, student meet-and-greets, Mass and prayer opportunities, an academic examination, and faculty interviews. All participants were guaranteed at least $3,000 per year in scholarships, with many earning higher merit awards, including the full-cost Presidential and full-tuition Provost scholarships. Additionally, students received an automatic invitation to the Honors Academic Program, with a chance to earn an extra $1,000 per year. The weekend not only showcased the university’s commitment to academic excellence but also provided a glimpse into life at AMU, ensuring every participant left with valuable financial support and an enriched understanding of the university’s vibrant community.
