As daughters of the Theotokos, we strive to know and understand the love of the Father through our role as women. In a world where authentic femininity is easily trodden, we turn to the teachings of Pope St. John Paul II on the feminine genius, as well as look to the examples of St. Zelie Martin and Our Lady of Sorrows on how to authentically live out our femininity. We reflect on Our Lady’s role as the “God-Bearer” and the sorrow, joy, and sanctity this role cultivated within her. Like Our Lady, we endeavor to become bearers of the face of God with meekness of heart and feminine strength to the world. In everything we do, we strive to seek the truth of our womanhood in the roles of daughter, sister, bride, and mother as we pursue our charisms of authenticity, receptivity, and reverence.
