Sisterhood of Mary Magdalene
A women's household at Ave Maria University
Established in 2015, Sisterhood of Mary Magdalene, or affectionately known as Mary Mag, is a wonderful women’s household that has had over 10 years’ worth of sisters join! As a Mary Mag sister, we understand that we are broken, but more importantly, that we are redeemed and called by name by Our Father. Out of our brokenness and sin, we rest in knowing the Lord never stops pursuing us. As a sisterhood, we challenge one another to remain at the foot of the Cross with Our Lord. Our sisters come from all different parts of campus life, ensuring we have a uniquely beautiful identity as the Sisterhood of Mary Magdalene.

How to join
Each semester, we hold open meetings for all those interested in having a sneak-peek into what Mary Mag is all about! If you are wanting to join, please let one of the leaders know. Once intent time comes around, it is a three-week process, focusing on one of our virtues each week with challenges and events throughout it all. Then, at the end is our special intent night, where we finally welcome you in as a Mary Mag sister!
