Our identity
Mandato Dei
A women's household at Ave Maria University
As members of Mandato Dei, inspired by the examples of Saint Joan of Arc and Saint Sebastian, we strive to cultivate inner strength through mortification, fortitude, and filial boldness. We are women that others can rely on for strength and encouragement, and we find this strength within ourselves through our relationship with God. The women of Mandato Dei are resilient in our pursuit throughout the year, especially during Lent and Advent. Through our actions and relationships, we will inspire others within Ave Maria and beyond. We will be ready to accept any vocation, any call, and any challenge by God’s command.
