October 10, 2024 - Morning Update
As Hurricane Milton continues to move through Florida, Ave Maria University remains vigilant in monitoring conditions and ensuring the safety of our campus community.
All classes remain suspended until further notice. Essential personnel continue to operate on campus to ensure building security and infrastructure maintenance.
We will provide additional updates as the situation develops. Please continue to monitor your email and this page for the latest information.
October 9, 2024 - Evening Update
Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall tonight. All students have been safely evacuated or sheltered in place per our emergency protocols.
Campus operations are suspended. Our emergency response team is in place and ready to respond to any situations that may arise.
Please stay safe and follow all local emergency management directives.
October 9, 2024 - Afternoon Update
The university has activated its emergency response plan in preparation for Hurricane Milton.
All classes and campus activities are cancelled effective immediately. Students living on campus should follow the instructions provided by Residence Life staff.
Updates will be provided twice daily via email and on this page.
