Join us for a day of discovery as students from across the university present their findings through dynamic poster sessions and engaging panel discussions.

During this free event, AMU students from multiple disciplines will be presenting their research through posters or panel discussions.

Ave Maria University is proud to have a strong research component at the undergraduate level. During the Symposium, our students will be excited to share their findings with you.

The day will also include a keynote speech, opportunities to walk among the student exhibits, time for lunch, and more. The event is free, with registration at the door.

Fr. David Pignato

Fr. David Pignato

Chaplain, Associate Dean of Mission & Visiting Associate Professor of Law

Fr. David Pignato is a priest of the Diocese of Fall River, MA, and presently serves as Chaplain and Associate Dean of Mission at Ave Maria School of Law. Fr. Pignato is also a visiting associate professor of law and teaches courses on Jurisprudence and the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

Fr. Pignato is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (1992) and Harvard Law School (1995). After practicing law for a short time, he entered the seminary and attended the Pontifical North American College in Rome. He received a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Angelicum.

In previous assignments, Fr. Pignato served as high school chaplain, personal secretary to the Bishop, seminary professor, pastor of two parishes and Vicar for Priests in his diocese.
