Sacred Music: Is Gregorian Chant for Everyone? The 21st century revival of chant, Plus a Guided Alma Redemptoris Mater Workshop

This event's purpose is to shed light on the Church's vast treasure of Gregorian chant and its unique place in Catholic heritage for all people. The presentation seeks to give people a point of reference for listening to, singing, and praying with Gregorian chant in the Mass, reflecting the trends of the 21st century revival of Gregorian chant. The second half of the event will be a hands-on workshop in which those in attendance learn to sing the Alma Redemptoris Mater.
