Handshake is the recruiting platform The Institute uses to connect AMU students and alumni with in-demand employers — including sponsor companies from our network. Search and apply for jobs and internships and receive personal recommendations based on your interests, skills, major, location preferences, and search history. New students can access their Handshake account by orientation.

Handshake can be used to apply for student worker positions, off campus jobs, internships, fellowships, and volunteer opportunities. It is also used to schedule appointments with The Institute team and to register for career and internship fairs, graduate school fairs, workshops, employer presentations, and other resources offered by Career Services at AMU.
