The purpose of the Hooks and Needles Club is: a. To provide a community in which Ave Maria University students can learn and practice knitting and crocheting . b. To facilitate greater fellowship and community among students who wish to knit, crochet, learn these skills, further develop their skills regardless of experience level. c. To host workshops, social gathering events, and charity projects through crocheting and knitting d. To be a source of prayer through work in imitation of St. Joseph and St. Benedict, and to rejoice in creativity and the arts in imitation of St. Zelie Martin.
