Va Pensiero Opera Club

Here, at the Va Pensiero Opera Circle, we share with students and faculty the cultural and uplifting experience of watching opera performances, both recorded and live. By enjoying opera as a community, members of the club will be enriched in body and soul by this century-old tradition. After all, the transcendent sound of the human voice, accompanied by an orchestra, sings of man’s glorious talents and God’s love for mankind. “Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing!”-Isaiah 49:13 In this club, we attend live opera performances in the Southwest Florida area, as well as viewing recorded opera here at Ave Maria University.
