Documentation of the disability must be submitted along with the “Request for Accommodations” form to the Adaptive Services Office (ASO) two weeks prior to the start of classes. It is the responsibility of each student with a disability to make his or her needs known at the start of the semester and to provide appropriate documentation in order for the University to help meet the needs for the following types of support:
- Note takers
- Extended time on tests (time and a half)
- Isolated testing environment
- Alternative format of Text
- Ability to record lectures
- Instruction in study strategies
- Confidential interview and record management
- Counselor assistance to facilitate the provision of applicable accommodations
