Apr 25 2023 Fiat Voluntas Tua Our Identity As members of Fiat Voluntas Tua, in declaring “Thy will be done,” we actively strive to embrace our Father’s will. The great “Fiat” of Our Lady within the Annunciation is a continual reminder for our community to surrender to God’s plan, which demands the act of dying to ourselves and trusting in Him. As we conform ourselves to the will of God, we discover and cultivate aspects of motherhood, both spiritual and biological. In this, we seek to grow in the virtues of humility, prudence, and patience through prayer, reflection, and sisterly support. As real-life examples, we turn to St. Teresa of Avila, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, St. Joseph, and St. Padre Pio to live a life of conformity to the will of God. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Talitha Koum Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers Our Identity As women of Talitha Koum, we cultivate the desire to grow in deeper intimacy with the heart of the Father. We acknowledge our brokenness and bear it in expectant, childlike faith, trusting the Lord will heal us in His divine timing. Through the act of worship, we unite ourselves to His heart, seeking to enter deeper into His love. We turn to St. Mary Magdalene, St. Monica, Pope St. John Paul II, St. Padre Pio, and St. Joseph Terror of Demons as examples of how to become a community of revivalists who seek to evangelize and create opportunities of encounter with the Father. We invoke the intercession of Our Lady, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, as our advocate and patroness in all we do. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Verso il Cielo Our Identity As the sisters of Verso il Cielo, we respond to the call to live “towards the heavens” by pursuing a life built on poverty of spirit, gift of self, and a missionary disposition. Through Sacred Scripture and Tradition, we seek to know and love Christ so we may further cultivate the desire to know Him personally and share that knowledge with others. This is accomplished through zealously sharing the joy of our identity found in Christ and exemplifying the words of St. Augustine when he said, “To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement.” We turn to Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati, St. Philip Neri, St. Augustine, and Our Lady of Guadalupe as examples of how to live a life aimed “towards the heavens.” < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Rosa Mystica Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers Our Identity As the sisterhood of the Mystical Rose, we endeavor to become one with Christ by dying to self under the mantle of Our Blessed Mother, the Mystical Rose. We do not cling to the gratification gained through our relationship with Christ, but to the graces He pours out on us. We aim for the perfection of our souls in all we do, no longer turned toward the attention of others, but to the emptying of ourselves in humble love of Christ. In every aspect of our lives, we strive to see the beauty of God’s goodness and acknowledge how He continuously blesses us. Through the examples of St. Mother Teresa and St. Therese the Little Flower, we as a community of women, aim to completely empty ourselves through acts of self-abandonment so we may be filled with the love of Christ and radiate His love to the world. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Theotokos Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers Our Identity As daughters of the Theotokos, we strive to know and understand the love of the Father through our role as women. In a world where authentic femininity is easily trodden, we turn to the teachings of Pope St. John Paul II on the feminine genius, as well as look to the examples of St. Zelie Martin and Our Lady of Sorrows on how to authentically live out our femininity. We reflect on Our Lady’s role as the “God-Bearer” and the sorrow, joy, and sanctity this role cultivated within her. Like Our Lady, we endeavor to become bearers of the face of God with meekness of heart and feminine strength to the world. In everything we do, we strive to seek the truth of our womanhood in the roles of daughter, sister, bride, and mother as we pursue our charisms of authenticity, receptivity, and reverence. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Vessels of Mercy Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers Our Identity As a sisterhood of the Vessels of Mercy, we are dedicated to becoming vessels of God’s mercy to the world. Through prayer, daily acts of sacrifice, and mortification, we unite all we are to the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross. The blood and water which flowed from His most sacred side continuously reminds us to die to ourselves and radiate His unending mercy and love to others. We take what our Lord revealed to St. Faustina as an example of how to live as vessels of His mercy, especially when He said, “I demand from you deeds of mercy which are to arise out of love for me. You are to show mercy to your neighbors always and everywhere” (Diary 742). By God’s grace, we will change the world, softening the hearts of those around us through our prayers, words, and actions. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Daughters of God Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers About Daughters of God As Daughters of God, we strive to actively live as true children of our Lord by pursuing a life of virtue. We aim to take after our patron, St. Josemaria Escriva, who exemplifies the virtues of gratitude, purity, humility, and obedience. Our desire is to grow in these virtues to become a walking monstrance of Christ’s presence to others. As we strive to do so, we turn to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as an example of how to be true daughters of God by being rooted in His love. To grow in obedience to God’s will in our lives, we also seek to imitate the obedience and humility of St. Joseph. Together, as a sisterhood, we call each other to become saints by growing in our identities as daughters of God. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Sisterhood of Mary Magdalene Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers Our Identity As the Sisterhood of Mary Magdalene, we embrace the call to freely commit ourselves to God and recognize how this call is manifested in each of us uniquely. As God called St. Mary Magdalene by name, so also do we call each other by name, recognizing the daughterhood of each woman in our household. Being young women in college, we are faced with the enticements of the modern world, encouraging us to become slaves to our desires. We choose to cultivate the desire deep within us to be something more. It is a desire to be like our Creator and to rediscover and develop the faith as we seek to live it out in our lives. We turn to St. Faustina Kowalska, St. Mary Magdalene, and St. Philomena as examples of how to live of mercy, humility, and purity. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Asteria Tis Marias Be sure to watch to the end for bloopers Our Identity As the women of Asteria tis Marias, we seek to imitate Mary by becoming her stars who illuminate the light of Christ to the whole world. Through her ten virtues—profound humility, blind obedience, ardent charity, constant mental prayer, universal mortification, heroic patience, divine purity, lively faith, angelic sweetness, and divine wisdom—she became the moon that reflects the radiance of the Son. Not only did she bear the light of her Son physically, but she also bore His light spiritually to the world through her virtues. As the stars of Mary, we endeavor to mirror the light of Christ like Our Lady. While the world may be full of darkness, we believe Christ has sent us into the world to bear the light of His love to those lost in the darkness. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
Apr 25 2023 Stella Maris About Stella Maris As the women of Stella Maris, we seek to cultivate sisterhood and community under the intercession and guidance of Our Lady Star of the Sea. We do this by following the examples of our patrons: St. Catherine of Siena, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Martin de Porres. Through our weekly commitments and daily reflections, we strive toward the virtues of moderation, purity, and dignity. < BACK TO HOUSEHOLDS
