Pre-Orientation Checklist
- Register for a Check-In/Move-In date and time: All students must register for a Check-In/Move-In date and time before they arrive on campus. An email has gone out prompting incoming students to register for Check-In/Move-In. If you haven’t received this email, please contact your Admissions counselor, or the Office of Student Affairs at studentaffairs@avemaria.edu.
- Complete the Attending AMU Welcome Course: If you haven’t already, please be sure to complete all sections of the Attending AMU Welcome Course, particularly the Pre-Orientation section. If you haven’t yet received access to the course, please contact your Admissions Counselor. Completion of the course will result in completion of a number of the tasks listed below.
Admissions & Academics
- Submit final high school transcript to the Office of Admissions.
- Submit all college, dual-credit, IB transcripts, and AP scores to the Office of Admissions

- In order to receive your class schedule, please complete your Pre-Registration form and take the Mathematics Placement Test.
- If you have a diagnosed disability, send documentation and a copy of your most recent IEP or 504 Plan to Jenifer LeCompte, Manager of Adaptive Services.
- Options for sending transcripts:
Financial Aid
- Complete the Disclosure of Confidential Information Form.
- Review and accept your financial aid awards in your financial aid portal and ensure all outstanding requirements are completed.
Business Office
- Review your student account statement and submit payment and/or sign up for payment plan.
Student Affairs
- Submit your Required Health Forms
- Submit photo to be used for your student ID using the Photo Upload Form: Be sure to carefully read the instructions!
- Register your bicycle or vehicle for on-campus parking
- Download the LiveSafe app: LiveSafe is your gateway for receiving all emergency notifications and communications on campus. You can download by clicking HERE.
