While completing our B.A. business administration online, you’ll study how to interpret and use accounting information, including cash-flow analysis, financial statements, operational budgeting and the identification of costs as they relate to the business decision-making process. You’ll forge an entrepreneurial spirit by exploring the fundamental theories and practice of building a business while simultaneously focusing on the ethical principles to meet human needs. Discover different management skills, such as teamwork building and empowerment and the ethics of virtue.
As you learn from faculty who are experts in their fields, you’ll get an introduction to the different parts of marketing strategy and research. Discover the communication and analytical skills needed to create effective brand campaigns. You’ll explore the foundations of the legal environment of business, including compliance issues, contracts, debtor-creditor relationships, and government regulations. Our online business administration degree additionally covers macroeconomics, microeconomics, finance, statistics, and quantitative business analysis. Finally, the completion of a capstone course that focuses on strategic management is required. The capstone course touches on all business aspects and the concept of strategic management through readings, discussions, and case analysis.

Courses & Curriculum
Within the business administration program, you’ll explore accounting, business, economics, finance, marketing, and statistics principles. An elective course in either business, accounting, or finance is required. The core curriculum, required for all undergraduate degrees, includes 14 courses for a total of 56 credits, and 24 credits of elective courses are needed in order to complete the 128 credits required for the degree.

To be considered for Ave Maria’s online bachelor’s in business administration program, you must have a combined GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale from all past colleges attended is required for transfer students. If less than 24 credits of college-level coursework has been completed, then the high school GPA will also be taken into consideration.
