Where are the computers located in the Library?

Computer access is available for AMU faculty, staff and students. Computers are located on the 1st floor of the Library near the entrance, and on the 2nd floor.

Is Wi-Fi available in the Library?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout campus.

I live in Ave Maria, can I use the computers?

Unfortunately, computers and Wi-Fi are only available to AMU faculty, staff and students.

I am going to be a visiting scholar, how can I get access to the Wi-Fi and printing?

You will need fill out the visiting scholar form and have your hosting department contact IT to set up an account.

Where can I print in the Library?

There is a printer/copier/scanner on the 1st floor of the Library across from the computers.

I sent my job to the printer, what do I need to do next?

Once you have sent your job to the printer login on the printer to release your job. You can also configure your ID card so you do not have to type in your username/password every time you print.

How much does it cost to print?

Black and white is 10 cents. Color is 25 cents.

How do I add money to my printing account?

To add money to your printing account you will need to go to the cashier’s office on the third floor of the library.

Where can I get a large print job printed?

The Duplication Center, located in IT, can handle large print jobs for faculty and staff. Students can also get large print jobs printed with special permission by their department.

What do I do if I need to print on paper larger than 8.5”x11”?

The IT Help Desk can provide you with larger paper.

Can I print from my laptop?

You will need to configure your laptop to print to the printers on campus. The staff at the IT Helpdesk can assist you with this.

Where do I go if I have problems with the computers or printing?

Library staff should be able to assist you with most computer or printing problems. You can also contact the IT Help Desk at 239-280-2585 or you can submit a ticket to the Help Desk. External link
