DIRECTOR OF RESIDENCE LIFE & HOUSING

A native of Honduras, Vivian is in her second year as the Residence Hall Director of St. John Paul II Hall. She looks after her students with care and hospitality second to none. Vivian graduated from AMU with a degree in Literature. She is married to Career Services Director, Zachary Crockett.

Gregory HowardGreg-Howard
SECURITY AND HOUSING OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

 A graduate of Florida Gulf CoastUniversity, Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Masters of Business Administration. At FGCU, he held student leadership positions in both Residence Life and Student Affairs. He was an active member of the Newman Club and FGCU’s Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) group. He also srved as the Game-Day Operations intern with the Florida Everblades. He is an adviser to Ave Maria University’s Students for Life club. A man of hidden gifts, you may hear his violin playing at the Oratory on Sundays!

John CheffersJohn-Cheffers
RESIDENCE DIRECTOR – ST. FRANCIS XAVIER HALL

John Cheffers is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts. He graduated with Honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington University in St. Louis.  Prior to working at AMU, John worked for a construction company in Santa Barbara, California. He also lived in Spain for the summer of 2014.  Last fall he led a student mission trip to the Bronx where they served the poor with the Missionaries of Charity.

Marguerite Nemeth
RESIDENCE DIRECTOR – MOTHER TERESA HALL

Marguerite Nemeth was born and raised in South Florida. She completed her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts at Wyoming Catholic College, and her Master’s in Sacred Theology at the International Theological Institute, in Trumau, Austria. Throughout her time of study at both of these institutions, Marguerite served as a Residence Hall Assistant (RA), and then as the Residence Director’s Assistant.

Marguerite is a backpacking and climbing instructor, and has spent the past three summers designing wilderness retreat programming for the Community of St. John in Scotland and Iceland. She relishes good conversation, sacred music, everyday adventures, and long runs.
