Cross Country Recap

As our Gyrene Cross Country (XC) runners close out their season, we want to feature some highlights of this fall. The XC men claimed a team championship at the Sun Conference Preview on campus, while the women’s team secured second place. The women’s team snuck past Lynn University by just four points and Barry University by five.

At the Sun Conference Championship—also in Ave Maria—both teams finished as conference runner-ups, with seven Gyrenes earning All-Conference honors and four gaining a spot in the NAIA National Championships. Paga, Torres, Foxhoven, and Burke will head to Vancouver, Washington, in less than two weeks for Nationals. It’s been another great season for our XC teams!
