The AMU Politics Department invited Dr. Kody Cooper, UC Foundation associate professor of political science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, to deliver a lecture on “Constitutional Idolatry.” The lecture observed Constitution Day, an event the politics department celebrates with our students every year. 

Our Women’s Soccer team played an excellent game against Thomas University last Saturday. The final score was 5-3 giving our Gyrenes the win. The AMU Women’s Soccer team is having one of their best seasons in program history!

This weekend, our students participated in our annual tradition of Dorm Wars! Dorm Wars consists of a series of competitive events between the six dorms on campus, with the goal of accumulating the most points and securing bragging rights as the best dorm on campus. This year, St. Joseph Men’s Hall took home the trophy, ending the three-year winning streak for St. Sebastian Men’s Hall.

On Friday, we hosted our annual Activities Fair! Representatives from all AMU clubs and households were present to talk about their organizations and get new students involved. It’s a great time to introduce freshmen and new students to the vibrant community we have at AMU.
