SEBASTIAN HALL Brady is the current Residence Director of St. Sebastian Hall. Brady is a small town Nebraska native and started working at Ave Maria University in July of 2018. He was previously teaching sophomore history and working in campus ministry at LaSalle Academy in New York City. Brady graduated from Benedictine College with degrees in Marketing and International Business. He enjoys spending time with friends, traveling and meeting new people, as well as watching sports. He is a die-hard Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. GBR! Email: brady.fehringer@avemaria.edu REBEKAH KOEHLERRESIDENCE DIRECTOR – ST. JOHN PAUL II HALL Rebekah is the Residence director of St. John Paul II Hall. She grew up on a small farm with six siblings in Tipton, Indiana. She graduated from Franciscan University with her bachelor’s degree in Science Education in 2015. After graduation, she worked as a middle school religion teacher for three years before joining Ave Maria University’s family. Rebekah’s hobbies include outdoor activities like: kayaking, swimming, hiking, camping, water skiing, and DIY projects, cosmetics, painting, photography, and enjoying a nice slow morning with coffee, breakfast and a friend to indulge in conversation about life. Rebekah believes she was given the gifts of compassion and understanding and is eager to share them with the students at Ave Maria University. Rebekah is married to Andrew Koehler, and has one son, Sebastian. Email: rebekah.koehler@avemaria.edu JARVIS MCGARRAHRESIDENCE DIRECTOR – ST. JOSEPH HALL Jarvis is the Residence Director of St. Joseph Hall. He is a Saint Petersburg, Florida native and is going into his third season as a coach with the AMU football program. He played football during his time at Arizona Western College/ Central State University (Ohio). Coach McGarrah has played as well as coached football all over Europe including Germany, Denmark, five different regions of France, and Italy (Grosetto, Cagliari, Sardinia). He loves learning about different cultures during his travels and is a huge jazz fan. He also loves art, wine tastings, and seafood. He considers himself a foodie! Email: jarvis.mcgarrah@avemaria.edu SARAH MEEHANRESIDENCE DIRECTOR – ST. MOTHER TERESA HALL Sarah grew up in Great Falls, Virginia with her five sisters and two brothers. She went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May of 2020, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and minored in Leadership and Communication. In her free time Sarah enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, meeting new people, playing with her dog, spending time outside, brunch with family and friends, and travelling. Sarah loves to make new connections and is excited to get to know the students of Ave Maria and share her positive energy and love for all of God’s creation. MARIA GORETTI HALL Savohn Hunt is in his first year as Residence Director of St. Maria Goretti Hall. He also serves as a member of the Student Support Staff in the role of advisor. Before his time as an employee, he was a standout football player for the Gyrenes. He served as captain from 2017-19 and was named an All-American in his final season. He earned his degree in Exercise Physiology. His office is always open to students seeking assistance, support or just talk about sports. He and his wife Emily were recently married in December of 2021. Email: savohn.hunt@avemaria.edu KARA LOGANRESIDENCE DIRECTOR – ST. FRANCIS XAVIER HALL Kara Logan is the Residence Director of St. Francis Xavier Hall. She grew up in Iowa and Littleton, CO and considers herself to be a midwestern girl at heart. She earned her BA in Theology at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS in 2015. During college, she was heavily involved in Ministry and served as a Resident Assistant. She then went on to earn her MA in Theology from the Augustine Institute. In fall of 2016, Kara came to Ave Maria University to pursue her PhD in Theology. She is currently a PhD Candidate and writing her dissertation on Ephesians 5:21-33 under the direction of Dr. Steven A. Long. She has taught Sacred Scripture and Theology of the Body during her graduate studies at AMU. Kara enjoys drinking copious amounts of coffee in the mornings especially with family and friends, watching British dramas, going on long walks, spending time at the beach, laughing, and eating gluten free baked treats. She looks forward to mentoring the ladies of Xavier Hall and sharing her theological formation with them.
