AMU Pilgrimages PilgrimageAve Maria University - Pilgrimage Programs In our international pilgrimages, students experience sacred spaces that invite encounters with Christ and His Church. AMU students pray the mysteries of the Rosary and read the Gospels in the locations where they actually happened. They strengthen their relationships with Christ in the Holy Land, Ireland, Rome, and on the Camino. They renew their baptismal promises in the Jordan River; follow the steps of St. Patrick and St. Brigid through Lough Derg; pray at the tomb of St. Peter, the first pope; and travel the Way of St. James.
