
Dr. Joseph Yarbrough

Joseph Yarbrough received his B.A. in Classics and Philosophy from Valparaiso University in 2002. In 2003 he studied at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies and earned the degree Master of Studies from the University of Oxford. Having received his M.A. in Philosophy in 2007 from Cornell University while studying in the Sage School of Philosophy, he is currently a Ph.D. candidate. His dissertation examines arguments in the debate over the eternity of the world from late antiquity to the Middle Ages. His other research interests are ancient and medieval philosophy, especially Cicero and the transmission of ancient philosophy through Augustine to the medieval West.
