Standardized Test Scores
Standardized Testing
Standardized test scores are required for both freshman and transfer students. Score reports can either be printed on an official high school transcript, or obtained in the following manner:
- SAT scores can be obtained by calling (866) 756-7346 or by visiting the College Board online and using SAT code 4249.
- ACT scores can be obtained by calling (319) 337-1313 or by visiting the ACT online and using ACT code 6212.
If you take the same test more than once, we will use the standardized test scores that best enhance your application.
In addition to the requirement of SAT or ACT scores, international applicants whose first language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). These applicants must have a score of 550 or better for the paper-based test, 213 or better for the computer-based test, and 80 or better on the Internet-based test.
- Registration for the TOEFL may be made online by visiting the Educational Testing Services' website and using TOEFL code 42.
