Ladislav Sallai received his Masters of Pharmacy degree from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. He is a PhD candidate in Inorganic Chemistry, and since 2003 he was a teaching assistant at the University of North Dakota. His current research includes photochemistry of organometallic compounds and the photochemistry of iron-carboxylate compounds, which are important intermediates in waste water treatment. His research in pharmaceutical chemistry involves the synthesis and study of compounds with activity on nitric oxide synthase.
