is assistant professor of theology. He has previously taught at Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was the 2004-2005 Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year. His publications and research cover various areas of theological interest including dogmatic theology, sacramental theology, and the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas. Dr. Nutt enjoys translating theological works from Italian to English; his published translation projects include Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger-Benedict XVI's meditation on the Wedding at Cana "The Sign of Cana" which appeared in Communio. He is also currently editing Charles Cardinal Journet's What is Dogma? for re-publication by Ignatius Press. His dissertation Christus Sacerdos et Mediator: Thomistic Christology and Vatican II's Call for Theological Renewal was awarded the 2006 Aquinas Dissertation Prize by the Aquinas Center for Theological Renewal and his corresponding Nova et Vetera lecture, "From Within the Mediation of Christ: The Place of Christ in the Christian Moral and Sacramental Life according to St. Thomas Aquinas" appears in Nova et Vetera, English Edition. For 2007-2008 Dr. Nutt is a recipient of one of the Loome Faculty Research Fellowships. He holds the degrees of B.E.S. from St. Cloud State University, M.A. in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University, and S.T.B., S.T.L., and S.T.D. from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome.
