Rev. Piotr M. Paciorek, Acting Dean of the Pre-TheologateRev. Piotr M. Paciorek, S.T.D. is an Acting Dean of Pre-Theologate and Adjunct Professor of Theology. He wrote his doctoral dissertation on the Holy Scripture as the Rule of Faith and of Morality of the Church according to the Enarrationes in Psalmos of Augustine of Hippo. He holds M.A. degree in Theology from the Papal Academy of Theology of Poznań, Poland; M.A. in Theology, S.T.L. in Church History and S.T.D. from the Catholic University of Lublin, Poland. He has received the titular D.E.A. (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) Intensive Advanced Study in the Didactic of Languages and Cultures, with highest honors (Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III, France). Since 1993 he has been a Member of the International Society of Patristic Studies. He lectured at the University of Sorbonne Paris IV, France; the University of Oxford, United Kingdom; at Augustinianum Instituto Patristico (Pontificia Università Lateranense, Rome). He taught Fundamental and Sacramental Theology, Patristics, and Church History at SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake MI, and at St. Vincent De Paul Regional Seminary, Boynton Beach FL. His research mainly concerns the patristic exegesis of the Bible, concentrating on early formation of patristic philosophy and theology up to the rise of the great philosophical and theological systems of the Middle-Ages. - M.A., Institute of Theology, Poznań, Poland
