Advent Concert & Sung Compline, Dec 7th

The Department of Sacred Music will present an evening of Advent and Christmas choral music on Thursday, December 7 at 8 PM in Stella Maris Chapel. The concert will feature the AMU Choir and Chamber Choir under the direction of Mrs. Diana Silva, as well as the Boys Choir, under the direction of Mr. George Bagan. The concert will include works by Robert Parsons, Peter Warlock, Michael Praetorius, as well as carols and sing-along Advent hymns. Mr. Lynn Kraehling, University Organist, will accompany the choirs. The concert will conclude with Compline (night prayer) sung by the Women's and Men's Scholas, under the direction of Dr. Susan Treacy and Mr.Kraehling. Admission is free.
