Bowie Kuhn, Requiescat in Pace

A message from Ave Maria University President Nicholas J. Healy, Jr.:
Many of you may already know that Bowie Kuhn passed away Thursday, March 16.
Bowie was a beloved Catholic leader and a dear friend to Tom Monaghan and to all of the Ave Maria projects. His generosity was demonstrated in numerous ways, including service as a member of the Ave Maria University Board of Regents. He was steadfast and indefatigable in his support of Catholic causes, from higher education to the service of the poor. He had a special devotion to St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei.
Bowie's wise and loving counsel will be sorely missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
