AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY DEDICATORY FOUNDERS WALL INSTALLED

Ave Maria University remembered its "Founders" otherwise known as "Alumni in Faith" and those who give $120 or more in support of the University - as the beautiful Founders Wall was installed in Canizaro Library on campus over the weekend of Sept 19-21. More

Northern Michigan Founders Club Dinner
August 21, 2008

Thomas S. Monaghan, the  Chancellor and Founder of Ave Maria University addressed the Northern Michigan Founders Club on the topic:  The "New Springtime" in the Church Through Educating our Catholic Youth.  The event was held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Traverse City, Michigan.  Pictures of the event are shown below.

We gather together as Founders and friends to learn and be inspired by great speakers from Ave Maria University and the local community on a featured topic. All are welcome to attend our events where you will also hear the most recent updates on Ave Maria University and Ave Maria, Fla., enjoy good food, and visit with friends.

What: Founders Club Events
When: • 5:30 p.m. Registration
• 6:00 p.m. Mass, Dinner and Presentation to follow
Where: St. Francis High School, 123 East 11th Street, Traverse City, MI. Mass is in the St. Clare Chapel, Dinner and Presentation in the Cafeteria
Cost: $10.00 per person (includes dinner and presentation).
RSVP: Call 231- 935-1874 no later than Tuesday before the event

2008		The Crusades

Jeffrey Hass, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of History at Ave Maria University. He specializes in the social and military history of the Middle Ages, with particular interests in the medieval town and the study of knighthood and chivalry. Dr. Hass holds the degrees of B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville, M.A. from the University of Toronto, and both M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Leeds in England.
