Legacy Society
The Legacy Society recognizes individuals who provide support to Ave Maria University by naming the university as a beneficiary in their estate plan. Membership belongs to those who have made a legacy gift through one or more of the following methods:
- Provision in their will or revocable trust.
- Retirement plan beneficiary designation.
- Life insurance policy beneficiary designation.
- Life estate gift (remainder interest in real property)
Being part of the Legacy Society allows us to honor you as one of our members and hopefully encourages others to consider a legacy gift to Ave Maria University. Members of the Legacy Society share a strong common bond of generosity and visionary leadership. The Legacy Society also helps the university to plan for future projects. We welcome the opportunity to recognize those who are helping to a make the future possible. However, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we are happy to honor your wishes.
To become a member of the Ave Maria University Legacy Society simply notify the Planned Giving Office of your intentions and/or complete our Charitable Bequest Intent Form below. The Planned Giving Office can also provide sample bequest language for inclusion in your will or trust, or otherwise assist you and your financial advisors with a plan that meets your philanthropic goals.
