 | Admissions Counselor |
I first came to Ave Maria University in July of 2005 and immediately fell in love with the place.
I graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC with a B.S.B.A. in Finance in May of 2003. After working in the financial world, I felt that God was calling me to work for the Church in one of her various ministries, and so I began working as the head librarian at Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls and started pursuing graduate studies in Theology at St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. After two years, I decided to transition to working with young adults at the college level. I moved to Naples, FL and began working at Ave Maria University as a Residence Director. I loved being an RD because the job allowed me to really get to know the AMU students personally, who they are and where they come from, as well as witness the tremendous spiritual, academic, and emotional growth they go through during their time at Ave Maria. My experience in Student Life has helped me understand the mission of Ave Maria University more profoundly as I see it lived out in the students each day. During my time at AMU, I have observed our students in the classroom, prayed with them in the chapel, and even played with them on the soccer field, as I am also the women's club soccer coach, and I can testify that we have a truly special community at Ave Maria that you will not find elsewhere.
I decided to begin working in the Office of Admissions in order to help young adults discern God's plan for their lives as they prepare to enter their college years and to serve them in any way I can along their journey to this great university!
