Dr. Jeffrey Hass

Jeffrey Hass, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of History. He taught for two years at Ave Maria College in Michigan before joining Ave Maria University. He specializes in the social and military history of the Middle Ages, with particular interests in the medieval town and the study of knighthood and chivalry. Dr. Hass holds the degrees of B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville, M.A. from the University of Toronto, and both M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Leeds in England.
