Each month, we gather together as Founders and friends to learn and be inspired by great speakers from Ave Maria University and the local community on a featured topic. All are welcome to attend our events where you will also hear the most recent updates on Ave Maria University, Ave Maria Town, enjoy good food, and visit with friends.

My Adventures in Burma 

Robert McTeigue, S.J., is Associate Dean of the Pre-Theologate Program at Ave Maria University.  The Program helps men who are sincerely seeking to discern their vocation to the priesthood while pursuing an undergraduate degree.  Fr. McTeigue is also an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy.  He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Catholic University and has taught at St. Louis University, the University of Scranton, the University of Saint Thomas and was Formation Director of the Pre-Theologate at Saint Mary's Seminary in Houston.  This spring, he returned from a tour in Southeast Asia, where he taught English, and theology, offered retreats and spiritual direction and worked in parishes.

2008   		Studying God's Creation at Ave Maria Stephen Cronin, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Biology at Ave Maria University. His graduate work in cell biology focused on how cells regulate cholesterol production. He holds the degrees of B.S. from Texas A&M University and Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego.
