 | Admissions Counselor |
I graduated in May 2007 from Ave Maria University with a B.A. in Politics. As an Admissions Counselor, I can offer first hand insight into what life is like for a student here at Ave Maria University. I came to Ave Maria from a different college, so I can also offer my experience as a transfer student. When I graduated from Ave Maria University, I discovered that I received exactly what I came for: an excellent education coupled with an orthodox faith.
I came to Ave Maria University by way of South Bend, IN (GO IRISH!) where I grew up as the oldest of ten kids. Growing up around Notre Dame had a profound effect on me; I am still a rabid fan of the Fighting Irish. As college came into view I felt I needed a change of scenery, and so I started my collegiate experience at Ave Maria College in Ypsilanti, MI. Soon after my freshman year at AMC I felt the Florida sun calling me to go down south. I subsequently transferred to Ave Maria University during my sophomore year. My time as a student at AMU was well spent. The education I received is of the highest caliber, and what stands out most in my mind in this area are the personal relationships I was able to develop with the professors. For leisure, one of my favorite pastimes as a student was to enjoy sunny Florida and take a trip to the beach. I am proud to still serve my Alma Mater, and excited at what new opportunities and a new campus will bring to future students.
