Curriculum Vitae

 David Dalin, Ph.D. is Professor of History and Political Science. He has taught at many universities throughout the northeastern United States, and comes to Ave Maria University from most recently teaching at Ave Maria College in Michigan. Dr. Dalin is an ordained Rabbi and has written widely on the role of Jews in the political history of the United States. He is currently writing a book on the impact of Jews on the presidents of the United States. He has lectured widely on Pope Pius XII and the Jews in World War II and on the relationship of Pope John Paul II and the Jews. He holds the degrees of B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, M.A. and Ph.D. from Brandeis University, and he completed seminary studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
