THE OFFICE OF CAMPUS MINISTRY

The Office of Campus Ministry facilitates Campus Ministry at Ave Maria University and brings together students, faculty, and staff for prayer, worship, and learning.  The Office of Campus Ministry also promotes the building of a genuine Catholic community on campus through a vibrant sacramental life.

This is accomplished in part by daily and Sunday Masses, by regular opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and by retreats and other spiritual programs.  Through its many services and programs, the Office of Campus Ministry strives to help students to integrate spiritual, academic, and personal growth.

The Director of Campus Ministry and other campus ministers reach out to students of all faiths to offer pastoral support and promote the full personal development of every student.  Recognizing that the human community is interconnected, the Office of Campus Ministry offers members of the University community opportunities to work for social justice through reflection groups, prayer vigils, and direct volunteer service.

The Campus Ministry Office also seeks to help develop future leaders for society and for the Church.  This is done through the retreat program, as well as through lectures, workshops, and opportunities for involvement in ministry to the University faith community.
