Andrew Dinan, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Classics and Early Christian Literature. Dr. Dinan earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Greek and Latin at The Catholic University of America. He defended his dissertation, “Clement of Alexandria’s use of quotations from Heraclitus” in November 2004. He attained a B.A. from The University of Notre Dame and an M.T.S. from The John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. He has a strong interest in both Latin and Greek patristic writings. He is currently preparing several articles for publication on Clement of Alexandria, Plutarch, and Philo.
