Credit Card Payments

Credit card payments may be made by clicking Here using our online secure merchant card processor. Please be sure to enter the name of the student you are making a payment for.

Walk up service

The university Cashier is available to receive your cash, check or credit card payment from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Students should allow 24 hours for payments to be posted to their accounts. The Cashier's office is located on the second floor of the Bob Thomas Student Union Building, next to the Office of Financial Aid.

STEP Participants

Students participating in the STEP program will have their agreed upon amount credited to their student account after receipt of their signed memorandum of understanding required to defer charges of up to $1000 per semester.  Earnings, net of applicable taxes,  will be withheld from the students paycheck and credited towards the STEP obligation until it is paid in full.  Separate statements will be emailed to students each month to inform them of their remaining obligation.

Tuition Payment Plan

Students using the Tuition Payment Plan will have the amount deferred by the plan credited to their student account after receipt of their executed Tuition Payment Plan Agreement and related Promissory Note.  Payment email reminders, along with a statement of account balance, will be sent to the students official AMU.EDU email address each month.

Students not using the convenience of automatic payments can make payments by cash, check, or credit card with the Cashier (see above for times and location), or with a credit card by clicking Here using our online secure merchant card processor.
