Undergraduate Program Majors

Development of Nursing at AMU

Ave Maria University is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has approved the development of a nursing program. The University's desire is to offer a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program. Ave Maria University staff and faculty are working diligently to obtain approvals from the Florida Board of Nursing and SACSCOC, the institution’s regional accreditation association. These approvals are required before implementation may begin. As with all of the University’s programs, Ave Maria University is committed to meeting the standards of the nursing profession while also connecting those standards to the Catholic mission, in this case through a study of bioethics and the care of the suffering.  Stay tuned for more information.
