Undergraduate Programs of Study-Degree Audits

To assist students in reviewing their progress toward a Bachelor of Arts degree at Ave Maria University, the Office of Academic Records utilizes a degree audit form.  This form, which lists the course requirements for each major along with the core curriculum requirements, is completed for each student upon the receipt of his/her Application to Graduate form.  It is also made available to the general student population to assist in course selection.

The PDF files contained on this page list the most current curriculum requirements for their respective major; this information is taken from the 2011-2012 Academic Catalogue.  Students who matriculated to Ave Maria University in previous years may find their program requirements in the archived catalogues.  Recourse should always be had to the appropriate Academic Catalogue, the student's advisor or the Department Chair for the major should any questions arise.

Core Curriculum

In addition to the degree plans for the 12 undergraduate majors, the Office of Academic Records has also designed an audit with only the 64-credit core curriculum requirements, for those students who wish to review their progress in the core.

NB: In addition to the 64 core credits and ~40 major credits, students must also take a sufficient number of General Elective credits to earn at least 128 total credits, the minimum necessary to graduate.
