Welcome to the Canizaro Library

Opened in August of 2007, the state-of-the-art facility currently holds over 200,000 volumes and was designed for a future capacity of 400,000.

Among a variety of features, the Library provides the following:

• 24-Hour Reading Room, complete with seating for 35, computer workstations, All-In-One Printer, and vending machines
• Language Learning Center with workstations for students to brush up on their foreign language skills
• Five group study rooms
• Microform reader room
• Rare Books/Special Collections Room that houses 10,000 volumes
• Bound Periodicals Room that houses 25,000 volumes
• Collection especially strong in theology and philosophy
• Computer stations and wireless Internet access throughout the Library
• More than 80 online databases
• Seating for 375.

Most importantly, the Library features a dedicated staff of librarians, library associates and support staff whose function and desire is to help those who use the Canizaro Library.
