Scholarships
All degree-seeking students in the IPT who take four or more credits per semester are eligible to apply for the AMU-IPT Scholarship. To apply, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be found at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students must also maintain the Satisfactory Academic Progress requirement of a 2.5 GPA in order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The AMU-IPT Scholarship is based on need as determined by the FAFSA. This scholarship ranges from 10-30% of tuition for those who are eligible and does not include fees, books or any other related costs.
Student Loans
Federal loans are available for all degree-seeking students taking at least 6 credits who are eligible to complete the FAFSA. Please visit the website of the Financial Aid office for information on the steps necessary to apply for a federal loan at http://www.avemaria.edu/AdmissionsAid/FinancialAid.aspx
Other Financial Assistance
Students often receive financial support from their dioceses and parishes, in addition to local and national Catholic organizations. We encourage students to contact their pastors and members of such organizations to explore the possibility of receiving funds.
