Biography

A Communication Arts & Theology graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ann went on to earn her Master's in Book Publishing from Portland State University in 2011. Prior to joining the staff at AMU, Ann worked in the arts & crafts industry with Hot Off the Press, Inc., based in Canby, Oregon. Before becoming the Admin. Assistant for Student Affairs, Ann spent 3 months working part time helping plan student activities alongside the Director of Student Life and the Coordinator of Student Activities. She now manages the front desk in the Division of Student Affairs, meeting the needs of both students and staff. Ann lives on the Ave Maria University campus with her husband, Felix Barba, Residence Director of Goretti Hall.
