Biography

He has previously taught at Aquinas College in Nashville, TN. His research interests include: christology, sacramental and liturgical theology, the theology of Charles Cardinal Journet, and the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas. Dr. Nutt's dissertationChristus Sacerdos et Mediator: Thomistic Christology and Vatican II’s Call for Theological Renewal” was awarded the 2006 Aquinas Dissertation Prize by the Aquinas Center for Theological Renewal.  His publications have appeared in Nova et Vetera, English Edition, Louvain StudiesAntiphonGregorianumThe Josephinum Journal of Theology, and Angelicum. His translation of Thomas Aquinas’ De unione verbi incarnati is forthcoming in the Dallas Medieval Text and Translations series.  Dr. Nutt is a member of the Academy of Catholic Theology.  He holds the degrees of B.E.S. from St. Cloud State University, M.A. in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University, and S.T.B., S.T.L., and S.T.D. from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome.
