Music

Ave Maria University seeks applicants for two full-time positions in applied voice, choir direction, music theory, and/or musicianship. Rank will be determined by years of teaching and performance experience as well as the candidate’s terminal degree and professional training. Applicants should minimally possess a master’s in music, a record of teaching excellence, and demonstrable proficiency in the discipline.

Adjunct or Part-Time Instructor in Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Ave Maria University is seeking experienced and academically qualified applicants to teach introductory chemistry.  This position will start in the fall semester 2015 with the possibility of continuation through the spring semester 2016.  The primary responsibilities of this position will include teaching lab sections for introductory chemistry courses for majors (Biology and Biochemistry) and non-majors (primarily nursing students).  This position will require the candidate to be available all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline, but a PhD is preferred.  Demonstration of teaching experience at the undergraduate level is essential.
