Be advised, the only tour times available during the Summer Semester will be weekdays, 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.

Summer classes will be available for visiting students to sit in on from 05/08/12 through 06/29/12. A downloadable list of the classes will be available upon submission of your Visit Form.

We will only be offering visit times at 10:00am during the Summer Semester.

Please read the following conditions before submitting your Visit Form:

1. Please note that all visit forms must be submitted at least 5 business days before your scheduled visit. family
2. All visits must begin on a weekday excluding all national holidays and any other days AMU is not open. 
3. The maximum stay for visitors in the dorms is 3 nights.
4. All visits must begin between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  
5. Overnight Visit means that you will be able to stay overnight in the dorms with a current student as well as have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor, meet with the Financial Aid department, receive a tour of the campus, and sit in on classes while you're here.
6. Day Visit means that you will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor, meet with the Financial Aid department, receive a tour of the campus, and sit in on classes while you're here.

Transportation from Fort Myers Airport

Unfortunately we do not offer any free shuttle-services to airports.  

1. Transportation options

         a. All Dixie Taxi (239-200-4600)

        i. If you don't already have it and you require either a pick-up or drop-off from Fort Myer's airport, I've attached a link to our "Visit Form" page, there you will find the link to "All Dixie Taxi and Limousine Service" just tell them that you would like the "Ave Maria University discount" and then they will work with you to setup all of your driving arrangements. They will give you a discounted rate if you mention that you're visiting AMU (ie: from the airport to AMU; and then that same rate from AMU back to the airport).

a.       Sedan for 3 people, $70.00 +15% gratuity.
  b.       Minivan for 5 people, $85.00 +20% gratuity.
  c.       Full-size van for 12-15 people, $105 + no gratuity.

b.  Enterprise Rental Car

i.  If you're interested in a rental car company, Enterprise Car Rental <http://www.enterpriseholdings.com/>  (Fort Myer's airport) gives a discounted rate for families visiting AMU.  Just give them the code: 35CAVEM and the pin #: AVE and you will receive 15% off.
